In the ad game you have to ask yourself – how would Darren do it?
The name Darren Stephens has been a part of the advertising scene for a long time. The name you recognize has a voice you’ve heard on hundreds of television and radio spots. Clients include McDonald’s, Friendly’s Restaurants, Chase Bank, Allstate, Stanley Tools, OfficeMax, Ford, Lincoln-Mercury and countless others.
You can count on this versatile talent in other areas as well, including as a presenter, show host and emcee, and as a public address "Voice of God" for corporate events or stadium shows. Use his voice on your next phone system/VRU project, video narration or audiobook. If it involves words -- written, spoken, or recorded -- go to the name you already know. That also means he can write copy for your commercial or narration, or edit and adapt something already created.
Darren has performed in regional theater around the country and in Chicago, and in improvisational comedy groups such as Baby Wants Candy, Cast On A Hot Tin Roof, Flanagan’s Wake and in the Second City House Improv Musical Ensemble. Harmony singing groups include The Four Guys Standing Around Singing, Relative Obscurity and The Famous Brothers, currently performing original humorous songs in three-part bluegrass harmony. As a master of ceremonies or show host Darren has worked for trade shows, sales meetings, the Screen Actors Guild Awards Benefit at the Hard Rock Café and the City of Chicago Birthday Celebration. Darren has a B.F.A. in Speech and Theatre, and an M.F.A. in Acting from Ohio University.
